Duchess Top

Positively regal, the Duchess Top is a masterfully tailored statement piece. It features voluminous, hand-pleated elbow-length sleeves, a structured mandarin collar, and a sculpted underbust corset-style midsection with a round, pointed hem. Lightly boned for subtle structure, the bodice is expertly seamed to provide shaping and support—allowing the option to go braless if desired.

The top fastens at the center front with delicate hook-and-eye closures from the underbust to the hem, while a soft ribbon at the neckline ties into an elegant bow.

Crafted from an intricate black brocade with a gold-iridescent sheen, the upper bodice and sleeves showcase an embossed black filigree motif. The lower corset panel unveils an ornate woven scene: a majestic peacock with feathers in blues, greens, and gold, nestled among a painterly landscape of sky, architecture, and florals in rich hues of blue, red, and metallic gold.

Boning: Lightweight boning is integrated into select seams for added shape and support.

Fabric Placement: Due to the nature of the brocade’s irregular pattern repeat and garment sizing, design placement may vary slightly from piece to piece. We do our utmost to ensure each top reflects the original design as closely as possible.

Each garment is thoughtfully handcrafted in-house and often made to order. Please allow approximately 1–2 weeks for production before shipping.
